Stopped in for a quick lunch at Nomad Tea Parlour and walked out both full and genuinely impressed. With its nostalgic Hong Kong décor and a dumpling-focused menu, it delivers on flavor and hospitality — a rare combo.

We stuck to small plates and dumplings but still got a solid read on how this place caters to both vegetarians and meat-eaters:

  • 🥬 Spinach Dumplings (Veg): Absolutely delicious. Vibrant, perfectly seasoned, and one of the best vegetarian dumplings we’ve had in the city.

  • 🍄 Forest Dumplings (Veg): Earthy mixed mushroom flavor, solid texture — good, though it didn’t stand out the way the spinach ones did.

  • 🥒 Cucumber Salad (Veg): Bright, tangy, and refreshing. A great palate cleanser between bites of dumplings.

  • 🌶️ Chili Wonton Dumplings (Non-Veg): Pork and shrimp dumplings with a fiery, flavor-packed sauce. Easily one of the highlights of the meal.

  • 🥣 Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings (Non-Veg): Classic execution — thin wrapper, rich broth, balanced filling. Not revolutionary, but a crowd-pleaser.

Beyond the food, what stood out was the incredible care from the staff. They made a real effort to check if any dishes included fish sauce or oyster sauce, even though it wasn’t clearly listed on the menu — something that veg diners deeply appreciate and rarely get. Their attentiveness made the whole experience feel personalized and thoughtful.
